The California AfterSchool Network is pleased to announce the recruitment of a dynamic new Director with extensive experience as a collaborative leader to direct the Network’s strategic plan and key communication strategies. The Director is responsible for promoting the Network as a distinct state and nationally recognized presence. The ideal candidate will possess a mindset that fosters connections to larger purposes and links pertinent issues to the Network’s overall vision.
The Director position is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual with the capacity and energy to carry out the job responsibilities with a high-level of integrity and transparency. The Director will collaborate closely with the California Department of Education’s After School Division, along with other state and regional organizations and agencies. The Director will also connect with the national field through the C.S. Mott Foundation’s statewide after school networks initiative.
The position is offered through the University of California, Davis with flexibility to work remotely. The appointment is contingent upon confirmation of the California AfterSchool Network’s FY 2012-2013 funding.
