Ray Trinidad began his youth service career in 1989, as an outreach specialist with the National City Police Department. Since then, he has served seven years as a Senior Program Director with the YMCA of San Diego County, and five years as the founding Director of Monroe Clark Middle School’s X-tended Day Classes (XDC) program. He was selected by Arnold Schwarzenegger to serve as Director of Operations for Arnold’s All-Stars in Los Angeles prior to becoming Director of the nationally recognized High Tech Middle School.

As a middle school principal, Ray brings a unique perspective to after school providers, understanding both the requirements of successful after school programs and the expectations placed on school administrators to meet academic goals. Currently Ray has taken on a new challenge in his home town as the Dean of Student Affairs at High Tech High Chula Vista.
