Keep Up the Fight to Save After School
Good News From Sacramento Today!
After School Advocates and Supporters -
This morning, the Senate Budget Subcommittee on Education recommended a $100 million increase in Prop. 98 funding for ASES programs to increase the daily rate! This is the biggest recommendation we have ever received from the Senate Subcommittee, but we can’t stop pushing now.
The Assembly Budget Subcommittee on Education will decide by Monday (1) if they are going to recommend funding for ASES, (2) how much, and (3) from what funding source. Our goal is to encourage the Assembly to mirror the Senate proposal.
