High School After School: What Works? And How Do We Get There?

On April 11, 2008, the California Afterschool Network hosted a workshop at the CalSAC Conference featuring Jerry Hipps and Marycruz Diaz, authors of the recent WestEd After School Safety and Enrichment for Teens (ASSETs) Program Evaluation. The workshop focused on research based exemplary practices in high school after school and a focused discussion by high school after school program directors on how research based exemplary practices are implemented in practice.
