Network Quality Committee Offers Feedback to CDE on Draft Quality Self-Assessment Tool
After an extensive review process the California Afterschool Network Quality Committee has offered substantial feedback to the California Department of Education (CDE) on the first draft of their Quality Self Assessment (QSA) tool. Citing current research and multiple QSA tools, the document contains feedback on the overall tone and usability of the CDE tool, recommends expansion of the youth development section, and offers suggestions for weaving issues of diversity, access and equity throughout the instrument.
