Join MICROSOCIETY practitioners as well as non-MICROSOCIETY educational leaders and after school directors interested in real world learning strategies for their K-8 population. Held annually, the conference brings together practitioners, parents, and individuals from the private and public sectors for an intensive three day series of workshops concerning all aspects of real world learning.

Who Should Attend? Educators and out-of-school time professionals who understand how real world connections impact the motivation to learn and seek strategies to implement.

Highlights:

• Keynote speaker Gary Heil –  expert on leadership, former member of the Board of Examiners for the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award , author of several books and Co-Author of “Leadership and the Customer Revolution.”
• One day pre-conference workshop series for administrators and another for practitioners entering the world of real world learning for the first time.
• Participate in a real life hands on learning experience with a site visit to Chula Vista Learning Community Charter School, an Oprah's Angel Network Ambassador School.
