Filling the Gap: Funding Strategies for California’s After School Programs
This guide recently released by the Bay Area Partnership for Children and youth is designed to help after school programs identify potential sources of matching or supplemental funding to support their programs. The guide focuses primarily on accessing Title 1 funds, Supplemental Instruction Funds, Supplemental Educational Services Funds, the Community Development Block Grant, and introducing a fee structure into you program. All of the strategies outlined have proved successful for programs in the Bay Area of California.
