2009 Step Up High School Summit

The California Afterschool Network is excited to host our first annual High School Summit on November 3-5, 2009. Program administrators, high school after school practitioners and high school principals are encouraged to attend. The Summit will focused on successful strategies for high school after school programs. The event will be held at the Bahia Resort Hotel in San Diego. Register today to make sure your high school team is part of this exciting event.

Don't Miss the Summit Opening Reception!
The Step Up Summit will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday November 3rd with an opening reception and kickoff celebration. Enjoy hors doeuvres, music, dancing, and karaoke with fellow high school after school professionals.

Step Up Workshop Sessions
The Network has chosen an amazing list of workshops sessions for After School Practitioners including High School Administrators, District Managers/Coordinators, Site Directors and Frontline Staff.

Step Up Pre-summit TOT
ASAP Connect would like to invite statewide technical assistance providers to attend a pre-summit training of trainers (TOT) workshop. The ASAP Connect pre-summit TOT will focus on engaging high school students, understanding youth culture, and providing relevant education to high school youth.

On Wednesday night the California Afterschool Network Step Up Summit will host an evening full of food, fun, music, relaxation, and networking while cruising on the Bahia Belle steamship through beautiful Mission Bay. Be sure to register for the Networking Cruise (an additional $85) as part of your Summit registration.
