Working with Challenging Behavior

Even after practicing and implementing pro-active group management strategies, challenging behaviors and conflicts are guaranteed to occur within youth programming. This follow-up workshop addresses creative intervention strategies for dealing with conflicts that arise and decreasing the impact of unwanted behavior. Through group discussions and role plays, participants explore and practice strategies to work with students that need a higher degree of direct management strategies in a way that fosters healthy experiences for the entire group.
