Summary of Federal 2010 Proposed Budget - No Increase For After School

The Obama Administration released the details of the Federal Budget for fiscal year 2010 earlier today. The budget contains no increases to the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) after school funding. The Afterschool Alliance is urging advocates to encourage the Administration and Congress to increase after school funding increase in its appropriations bill, to be developed over the summer and fall.
