LACOE AU: After School University

After School University (AU) is a comprehensive practitioner-based training for new elementary after school program staff. This is a structured 3-day interactive project-based conference. Participants will gain practical knowledge on best practices, skills, and tools that can be used in your program today. Subject areas addressed include Youth Development, Homework Assistance, Policies and Procedures, Lesson Planning, Math, Science, Literacy, and the Performing Arts. Attendees will receive a free AU T-shirt with paid registration and an After School University. This Event will take place July 28-30. Registration is required and available to the first 140 individuals who are registered and payment has been received. Registration will be taken through July 10, 2009, or until seats are full.
