Position Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D.Required, NCLB Compliance (completion of 48 college units/60 semester units), successfully pass THINK Together’s Pre-Employment Test, ability to speak and write standard English appropriate in a public school setting, must pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting), proof of TB Test (valid within the past 3 years from hire date), at least six months experience working with a group of 10 or more students in a classroom setting, afterschool, or recreation environment, advanced Math and English skills (K-8), excellent communication skills (written and verbal), support our English-learner population by being bi-literate (Mandarin preferred), and must be willing to work some evenings and weekends and to travel to off-site meetings, trainings, and events. Bi-lingual abilities will be tested prior to offer of employment.
