ASES and 21st CCLC Commitment to Engage in a Data-Driven CQI Process

Based on the passage of SB 1221, now codified in Education Code as EC 8484 (a)(2), After School Education and Safety (ASES) and 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) programs will now report on attendance as well as participation in a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process. The California Department of Education After School Division (CDE-ASD) recently released it’s Guidance for Developing and Implementing a Data-Driven Program Quality Improvement Process for California Expanded Learning Programs. As part of the process ASES and 21st CCLC grantees will address three questions through a  commitment to engage in a quality improvement process for Expanded Learning. The deadline for ASES and 21st CCLC grantees to submit their commitment to engage in a CQI process is September 30, 2015
