This Valentine’s season, share why you love your afterschool program, and get the students, parents and afterschool supporters in your life to join you. In celebration of Valentines Day, the Afterschool Alliance has developed a simple way for all of us to support our love of after school. It’s easy to participate. Just download the toolkit, print out some copies of the included “We Love Afterschool sign” and write in why you love afterschool (ask students or parents to join you, too). Then snap photos of the finished product and share on social media with the hashtag #AfterschoolWorks! Magnify the message by sending your images to your State Senators and Congressional Representatives.
