The inaugural issue of the Journal of Expanded Learning Opportunities (JELO) is officially here! The journal is a peer-reviewed, online, open-access publication of the Central Valley Afterschool Foundation. The aim of the JELO is to connect research and promising practices throughout California and the nation, fostering a dialogue that engages both researchers and practitioners in the field. The JELO is the first of its kind to examine expanded learning more closely by bridging research and practice together.
