Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is hosting a two-day workshop titled: ’Technical Writing for Science Class,’ This workshop is designed to help educators incorporate technical communication into curriculum with the implementation of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). Participants will learn about the six essential technical communication themes that can be applied across all grade levels which will improve the quality of science learning.  With the growing need for strong technical communication skills in the fields of science, engineering, and medicine, it is vital for K-12 teachers to equip students with a strong background in order to support their future educational and career goals.
