LEARN L.A., a non-profit organization dedicated to providing academic resources and opportunities to children and families, is currently accepting applications for the position of Supplemental Educational Services (SES) Tutor. The primary responsibilities of this position are the facilitate and lead weekly tutoring sessions for students qualifying for SES services. Working under the supervision of the SES Coordinator, the tutor will track the progress of students and adapt to different teaching styles according to the learning needs of the students. Qualifications include but are not limited to 1 year of experience in an educational setting, a minimum of 60 college units, and flexibility in order to teach effectively to each student’s diverse needs.
