The Learning in Afterschool & Summer (LIAS) recently released the blog “Afterschool Change Maker: An Interview with Terry Peterson.” Terry Peterson, Board Chair of the Afterschool Alliance, helped develop nationwide education improvement strategies such as the 21st Century Community Learning Centers program while he was Chief Education advisor to the U.S. Secretary of Education. Mr. Peterson has been a leader and champion in the afterschool movement for years. LIAS conducted a video interview with Mr. Peterson after the 2016 elections.
