Lights On Afterschool is a project of the Afterschool Alliance and is a national annual event that spotlights after school programs and the positive impact they can have on children, families, and communities. A vital part of the growing after school movement, this event raises awareness for the importance of out-of-school time programs and generates media coverage. This year, many after school programs nationwide will be celebrated at the 15th annual Lights On Afterschool event.
