Mozilla Launches “Maker Party” Celebration to Spread Web Literacy

Mozilla recently launched a two-month long “Maker Party” celebration to promote web literacy and internet learning for youth to be successful in careers in the 21st century. The “Maker Party” is a global campaign that involves a collaboration of thousands of leaders in the digital field who host worldwide events that support the Webmaker movement, introducing the web culture to communities. Through interactive and hands-on activities that explore the digital world, the Maker Party will increase web literacy, therefore training today’s youth to be fluent and proactive in the digital age.
