New Programs from CalSAC

Post

The California School-Age Consortium (CalSAC) recently released four new free in-person trainings online for staff. In total, CalSac offers 20 free eLearning modules. These free trainings for Out-of-School Time staff are courtesy from the California Department of Education School Age Training Project. Take advantage of these training here!

CalSAC is also promoting programs for youth. Maybe you’ve wondered why are flamingos pink? Enroll in the California Academy of Sciences’ Science Action Club project for the spring 2017 semester to find out why flamingos are pink. In this program, students will learn about feathers, flight, and the features that make birds unique. Explore with your youth the lives of birds in your community. This program is for 5th-8th grade students all over California. Apply now!
