NSLA National Summer Learning Day

Post

National Summer Learning Day is on Friday, June 19, 2015. This national advocacy day aims to emphasize the important impact that summer learning programs have on advancing youth development and closing the achievement gap. Working to spread awareness about summer learning programs, NSLA highlights how they support growth, keep children safe and healthy, and ensures that children are ready to learn when returning to the school year. In order to raise awareness about the important role that summer learning can play in helping to close the achievement gap, NSLA has created an infographic, detailing the positive impacts of summer learning.
