Wednesday, May 29: California Expanded Learning Communication Systems Work Group Application Due

The Expanded Learning Division of the California Department of Education is currently recruiting members to participate in a statewide work group focused on developing multi-directional communication systems within Expanded Learning and the K-12 field to provide better supports for developing and maintaining high-quality Expanded Learning Programs. 

Monday, July 1: Technical Assistance Provider Form Due

The Expanded Learning Division of the California Department of Education is required to provide a list of prescreened Technical Assistance providers on our website per the Every Student Succeeds Act, Title IV, Part B. 

Wednesday, July 31: Attendance Relief Requests/Professional Development Days Form Due

Grantees may apply for attendance credit if their program has to close to provide professional development to staff, or due to a natural disaster, civil unrest, or if the pupils or staff are in imminent danger. The Expanded Learning Division has recently combined the Attendance Relief Request form with the Professional Development Day Credit form. Grantees can submit this form with the necessary evidence to align with the semi-annual reporting period. 

Wednesday, July 31: Fourth Quarter Expenditure Report Due

Fourth Quarter Expenditure Reports are due Wednesday, July 31. Grantees will be able to access the report in the After School Support and Information System (ASSIST) after July 1.

Wednesday, July 31: Second Annual Attendance Report Due

Second Semi-Attendance Reports are due Wednesday, July 31. Grantees will be able to access the report in ASSIST after July 1.
