Vision to Learn Provides Free Eye Exams and Glasses to Students Throughout California

Post

Vision to Learn, a non-profit organization, is offering free eye exams and glasses to elementary-age students in low-income communities across California this summer. With an estimated 1 in 7 kids going undiagnosed in California, this program uses mobile clinics to provide exams and glasses to students in need. Mobile clinics are staffed by trained optometrists and opticians who have been tested and fingerprinted prior to working with children. After school programs of all sizes in underserved communities in Sacramento, Los Angeles, and the Bay Area are encouraged to sign up to be served this spring and summer.
