Wallace Foundation Offers Recommended Practices for Summer Learning Success

Post

The Wallace Foundation has recently released a report entitled Getting to Work on Summer Learning: Recommended Practices for Success. The Guide offers promising practices to facilitators and educators looking to launch summer learning programs or improve existing programs. Based on research collected from six summer programs in urban districts, the report provides specific recommendations on how to maximize enrichment opportunities for children in summer learning programs. With improved program quality, schools can come closer to bridging the achievement gap between children of low-income families and children of affluent families.
