Wallace Foundation Survey Reveals Higher Numbers in Summer Learning Programs

Post

A recent report released by the Wallace Foundations reveals that summer learning programs are rapidly increasing in popularity, as the number of parents enrolling their kids in programs has increased by 8% since 2009. Furthermore, approximately half of the surveyed parents expressed interest in wanting to enroll their children in summer learning programs if these programs were available in their community. These numbers suggest the growing prominence of summer and after school programs and the pressing need for more accessible, high-quality programs.
