Jenesis Group Grants
The Jenesis Group is offering grants to support youth development, education and social entrepreneurship. Nonprofit organizations with 501(c) 3 status are encouraged to apply. The Foundation invests in grass roots organizations working to empower at-risk and/or disadvantaged youth to become productive citizens. Priority is given to programs with preventative approaches and comprehensive long-term solutions to challenges facing youth today.
CA Dept of Education Releases 21st Century High School ASSETs RFP
Eligible Applicants: institutions of higher education, local educational agencies, nonprofit organizations, other organizations or agencies
Grants are Available for Summer Camps Incorporating Manufacturing and Engineering
Grants are available for Summer Camps that introduce young people (12-16) to manufacturing and engineering careers. Non Profit Organizations and Educational institutions capable of conducting a quality overnight or day camp in the summer of 2009 are eligible to apply for FMA (Fabricators & Manufacturers Association) Foundation Manufacturing Camp Grants. The purpose of the manufacturing camps is to provide a positive, hands on experience that introduce young people to metal forming careers.
Do Something's Plum Youth Grants
U.S. and Canadian citizens 25 or under
are eligible to apply for $500 Plum Youth Grants. These grants are designed
to further the growth and success of recently created community action project
or organization. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and grants

Lowes Charitable and Educational Foundation Funding
Nonprofit organizations with 501 (c) (3) status and public agencies operating in communities where Lowe’s stores and distribution centers are located are eligible to apply. Grant funds are available for community improvement projects. Grant amounts range from $5,000 to $25,000. Application awards are ongoing. To apply organizations will need to take an eligibility test. ExploraVision Awards
Groups of two to four K-12 students in partnership with a classroom teacher and a mentor are eligible to apply for the ExploraVision Awards. To participate, teams of students select a current technology and research to prepare an in-depth report exploring what the technology could be like in 20 years. Members of the four first-place teams will each receive a $10,000 U.S. Savings Bond and a trip to Washington, DC, to be honored. The Application Deadline is January 28, 2009. The Sprint Foundation -- Youth Development Grants
Non-Profit Agencies in Los Angeles, California are eligible to apply for the Sprint Foundation’s Youth Development Grants. These grants focus on mentoring programs, leadership initiatives, and at-risk youth development. The application deadline is November 30, 2008. For more information and to apply click here

Comcast Foundation Grants
Comcast Foundation Grants are available to fund literacy, volunteerism and youth leadership development programs. Nonprofit organizations with 501 (c) (3) status operating within Comcast communities are eligible to apply. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
