CDE ASES and 21st CCLC Frequently Asked Questions Document
The California Department of Education (CDE) recently updated their Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) Document to include information clarifying that after school programs can close their programs for up to 3 days per grant year, with advance notice to parents whose children participate in the program, to provide professional development for program staff (page 17). The FAQ document also includes information on administrative costs for programs and the CDE definition of direct service (pages 9-12).
The Children's Initiative
