The CA Site Coordinator Network is excited to announce the 5th Annual, 2022 Site Coordinator Symposium: Back to the Future. This convening will provide hybrid opportunities, in-person and virtually, from Wednesday, February 2 – Saturday, February 5, 2022.
This event is presented by the CA Site Coordinator Network and supported by the California AfterSchool Network, California Department of Education Expanded Learning Division, and the System of Support for Expanded Learning. California’s Expanded Learning Professionals will have a unique opportunity to learn from their peers, colleagues, and other experts during this informative 4-day event. Additionally, partners throughout the state are excited to provide Site Coordinators time to learn from another. Come and share in the experience and see what opportunities are here for you!
At this time, this year’s Symposium will be a hybrid conference, with virtual and in-person opportunities at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center in Sacramento, CA.

Presenter Request for Proposal (RFP)
Due by 5:00 pm on October 22, 2021
Calling all potential Presenters! We are looking for those who are interested in presenting at the hybrid 2022 Site Coordinator Symposium: Back to the Future, either in-person or virtually. The Symposium Planning Committee is seeking presentations for Site Coordinators, and those that build the capacity of all attendees including Site Coordinators, and those in leadership positions supporting Site Coordinators. Submitted proposals will be reviewed by the Symposium Planning Team and if selected, Presenters will be notified by November 5, 2021.

Health & Safety Information
The California AfterSchool Network is excited to connect at the 2022 Site Coordinator Symposium: Back to the Future. The Health and Safety of our team and community are important to us. All In-Person conference participants and sponsors, including CAN Staff, will be required to follow local Sacramento and statewide health and safety guidelines in accordance with the CDC and Department of Public Health.
Based on current Sacramento County guidelines, everyone is required to wear masks in the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center facility. In accordance with County’s recommendations, all employees, volunteers, interns, contractors, and members of the public must wear face coverings when indoors in City of Sacramento facilities, regardless of vaccination status. More information on this policy can be found on the City of Sacramento homepage.
