Who: Local
Educational Agencies (LEAs – districts and
schools). To check your LEA’s submission
status, click on this Logon Weblinkand scroll to
find your LEA using the dropdown arrow.
What: LEAs are required to submit an expenditure report to the CDE for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 Fiscal Years.
Critical Note: A local educational agency that does not submit the final expenditure report shall forfeit all funds allocated for the 2021–22 and 2022–23 FYs.
When: The Expenditure Report is due by this Thursday, October 31, 2024.
Where & How: An email from the California Department of Education was sent on Friday, September 6, 2024, with information on how to submit your report.
- You can submit your LEAs expenditure report on the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) Expenditure Report website at http://www2.cde.ca.gov/elop.
- Enter the LEA’s unique access code and include:
- LEA Name: XXXXX
- CDS Code: XXXXXXX
- Password/Pin: XXXXXX
Why: AB-176 Education Finance: the governor has signed the omnibus budget trailer bill. This means that this bill is put into effect immediately. This trailer bill outlines the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) changes, including Expenditure Report Deadlines. Learn more.
