Education Administrator, California Department of Education

Joshua D.S. Brady received his Bachelor of Science degree in sports management and a master’s degree in Education from Springfield College in Springfield, MA. “The Birthplace of Basketball”. He has extensive experience in sports, youth development, and recreational programs, including work at Disney’s Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida, and in the grants office of the State Department of Parks and Recreation from 2000 to 2007. Since 2008, Joshua has worked for the Department of Education, Expanded Learning Division as an Education Programs Consultant and in 2017 was promoted to Education Administrator.

Joshua is a Certified Gallup Strengths Coach and was appointed to the Board of Directors for the National Afterschool Association.

He has a passion for youth and seeing them reach their full potential. In addition, Joshua was an All-American Gymnast in college and has coached at all levels. Joshua believes it is all about building strong relationships and tapping into people’s strengths.
