Area Manager, KLC Champions

Katie Czerwinski brings more than 15 years of experience in talent development and strategic leadership, with a passion for building strong teams and creating environments where educators and students can thrive. Since July 2023, she has served as an Area Manager with KLC Champions, partnering with schools and teams throughout the San Diego area to strengthen program quality, support educators, and advance Expanded Learning.

Katie leads with care and high expectations, believing that strong leaders build confident teams. Her approach centers on giving people the tools, clarity, and trust they need to lead as themselves, grow their strengths, and succeed. Through intentional hiring, ongoing coaching, professional development, and strong school partnerships, she works to make quality more than a standard to meet. She believes it results from strong relationships, shared values, and a commitment to creating safe, supportive environments where children and staff can thrive.

Katie is passionate about strengthening Expanded Learning through collaboration, continuous growth, and relationship-centered leadership. She believes that investing in people builds stronger teams, stronger programs, and better experiences for children and families.
