Expanded Learning Admin Intern, Whittier Elementary School, Newport Mesa Unified School District

Leina Dingle was born in Hawaii to immigrant parents and raised in the town of Waianae. She moved to Las Vegas, where she earned her master’s degree in Elementary Education, focusing on Curriculum and Instruction and Education Administration. In 2016, she joined Newport Mesa Unified School District in Orange County, teaching kindergarten, 2nd grade, 6th grade, and as a reading specialist. This is her 3rd year as the ELOP Admin Intern at Whittier Elementary! She’s excited about the school’s academic progress and looks forward to offering new experiences like swim, cooking, and robotics.
