Executive Director, Boys & Girls Club of El Dorado County, Western Slope

Sean McCartney has been employed as the CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of El Dorado County, Western Slope since 2009. Sean leads a team of 66 employees who serve more than 700 kids a day across five locations. He has overseen dramatic growth in attendance and funding at the Club over the past many years and helped establish it as the premier youth development program in El Dorado County.  In 2016, the Club completed a $ 5 million capital campaign and opened its new building in Placerville. Sean is excited to break ground on the $ 30 million “The Landing” project in 2027 and help bring a 40-acre sports & recreation complex and teen center to El Dorado County!
