Registration is NOW OPEN: 2020 Virtual Expanded Learning Summit

The Virtual Expanded Learning Summit welcomes After School Education and Safety (ASES) and 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) program grantee staff, stakeholders, partners, and K-12 educators, administrators and leaders to attend the 2020 Virtual Expanded Learning Summit for an informative opportunity to attend an informative and uplifting day dedicated to the theme, Together We Rise: United for California’s Recovery and the Reopening of Schools.
The Virtual Summit will provide participants the opportunity to speak of their personal and professional experiences around topics that they are currently facing, and how to prepare for the reopening of schools. Breakout sessions will be lightly moderated, and ultimately be self-generated conversations with participants that elevate expertise, success stories, promising practices and experience.
Breakout Session Topics:
- Technical Assistance and FAQ’s
- Equity and Inclusion
- Trauma Responsive Practices (Youth, Staff and Community)
- Learning in COVID (Distance and In Person)
- Staff Recruitment and Retention (Supporting All Staff)
- Core Day and Out of School Time Collaboration
The Summit will also include a Town Hall with Michael Funk, CDE-Expanded Learning Director and Special Guest and a keynote panel. There is no cost to attend this event and space will be limited.
