The Learning Policy Institute released their second in a series of 3 newsletters sharing research on best practices for safe restorative school reopening for students and educators.

As U.S students and educators have returned to classrooms already, and more schools open for in-person learning, there continues to be pressing questions about how to keep schools safe, how to address the traumas of the past year, and how to pay for it all. Equity, whole-child learning, and addressing the trauma of the past 1.5 years are part of a safe return to school. Below are some key resources that can be used to help guide safe school reopenings centered on quality, equity, and whole child learning.
