A Teacher Assisting Students

CalSAC is offering great training and resources on Youth Mental Health, support for Site Coordinators, and Summer 2020. Our  CAN staff are excited to be a part of the OST Wellness Network and are supporting free training on youth mental health. Read on to learn more about these great opportunities!

Free Training on Youth Mental Health

Start the Spring off right with quality professional development for your staff! Research shows that youth learn best when we attend to the whole person. Strengthen your program’s youth development practices to better support the social and emotional needs and the mental health of the youth you serve. CalSAC has 20 training topics available as part of the OST Wellness Network project—free to programs in the Bay Area, Sacramento, and other select counties and available on a low cost, fee-basis throughout California.

Browse the available Mental Health and Wellness training topics and request a training for your staff at your program site, or contact Hannah at hdavidman@calsac.org with questions.

  • Registration is now open for CalSAC’s 3-day Leadership Intensive Retreat, June 4-6, for Site Coordinators and other management-level staff. Topics covered include Strengths-Based Leadership, Supervising Staff, and Coaching.
