As families prepare for school to begin, too many are also living in fear due to anti-immigrant policy threats and actions. The Final Trump Rule significantly changes the “public charge” rule by making it harder for millions of immigrants to access many health care and social service assistance programs. Although this rule takes effect on October 15, the finalized policy will immediately put the wellbeing of many immigrants at risk. Learn more about how to get involved to support  immigrant families
