The applications for the Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley’s Educators Summer Workshop is now open! This Summer Workshop provides education professionals from all over the world the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the science and practice of prosocial development and, most importantly, to work with other educators to create practical applications of this science to help them build classrooms and schools where both the students and adults thrive.

The Summer Workshop will offer one session this year on the topic of kindness in schools, taking place July 28-30, 2024.

Applications from education professionals who work in formal education settings (schools/school districts) are being prioritized. This includes: preK through 12th grade classroom teachers, paraeducators and out-of-school-time providers; school mental health professionals and counselors; school and district-level administrators; and teacher and administrator educators.

Scholarships are available for California-based Education Professionals. If you work in a California school, district, out-of-school-time program that is associated with a school or district, or county office of education, and do not have additional funding to support this experience, you can indicate that you would like to be considered for a scholarship on your summer workshop application.
