Program Manager for First Response Transformation

They are recruiting for a dynamic community outreach professional to lead their First Response Transformation project. The project will build statewide momentum for improving the efficiency, effectiveness, cost-effectiveness, and equity impact of California first response (police, fire, paramedic) systems. The program manager will lead PHAdvocates’ work with at least 12 cities to implement systemic emergency response improvements.

Program Specialist for My Brother’s Keeper

They are recruiting for a dynamic community outreach professional to support their My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) Sacramento project. MBK Sacramento helps connect youth to supportive providers and engages youth as leaders in designing their own solutions, diminishing isolation and increasing power. The project’s goal is to reduce distress, remove barriers to accessing mental health supports, and increase the cultural responsiveness of mental health services for youth of color in Sacramento’s most disadvantaged neighborhoods through policy change, system change, and youth led service innovation.

Program Specialist for California TRANScends

California TRANScends is a statewide initiative that is working to promote the health and wellness of transgender people throughout the state of California, with a focus on transgender communities of color. The goal of the initiative is to strengthen statewide and national coalitions to work collaboratively to provide a rapid response to combat human rights abuses, health disparities, intolerance, scarcity, and societal oppression that target and disproportionately impact the transgender community. We are developing a strong network of statewide California-based transgender-led groups to formulate statewide policy agendas to promote health equity for transgender Californians.
