Where We Are and Where We're Going Ecosystem Timeline

As of April 2026, we are currently in a listening and sensing phase. No decisions have been made yet. This process is designed to move at the speed of trust, gathering voices, building relationships, and making meaning together before we act. Here’s where we are and what’s ahead.

Phase 1 | January – March Orientation & Relationship Building

“Moving at the Speed of Trust — No One Holds the Whole. We Rely On Each Other To See Clearly.”

We’re starting by getting grounded — together. This phase is about building the relational foundation that makes real listening possible. We’re aligning on shared values, creating multiple ways to participate, and making sure this process is invitational, not extractive. Power, pace, and trust are named openly from the start.

Phase 2 | April – July Local Listening & Distributed Action

“Small is good, small is all. We invite many small, locally-rooted listening practices to unfold across different contexts.”

This phase invites teams to try one small listening practice that fits their community, relationships, and capacity. There’s no single script — strategies are adapted to the local context, not standardized. As people listen, they share a signal back: a story, a question, a moment of surprise. Together, these small acts of noticing become collective learning.

Phase 3 | August – October Making Meaning Together

“The Whole Lives in the Parts.”

Now we pause to reflect on what we’ve heard. This phase is about analyzing patterns across places and roles, and gathering to make meaning together — honoring lived experience as real data. We’ll share not just what we heard, but what the system seems to be telling us, and what that might mean for what comes next.
