Resource from NRPA: Reducing Food Waste in Out-of-School Time Best Practices Guide


The National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) recently released a Best Practices Guide, that is designed to meet the needs of park and recreation out-of-school-time (OST) programs. The guide focuses on reducing food waste at all stages of the food service process — from planning, to procurement and ordering, serving, handling and storage of uneaten foods, and disposal.
