UPCOMING WEBINAR: Emerging Practices for Attendance Recovery
Thursday, February 19, 2026
This webinar is an opportunity to
explore what school districts are learning from early
implementation of Attendance Recovery in partnership with
Expanded Learning
California’s new Attendance Recovery policy offers an unprecedented opportunity to re-coup lost attendance dollars and learning time. Implemented in partnership with ELO-P, Attendance Recovery can also increase students’ connection to school and attendance. Districts across the state are figuring out how to leverage their existing Expanded Learning infrastructure to maximize the benefits of Attendance Recovery.
Join the Partnership for Children and Youth and the California AfterSchool Network to learn from these pioneering districts, gather practical strategies and advice, and ask questions about how to implement Attendance Recovery well. This discussion showcases learning from the newly released resource, Emerging Practices for Attendance Recovery, the second report of a 3-part series. The webinar will be one hour with an optional 30 minute Q & A with the panelists.
Who should attend?
District staff charged with implementing Attendance Recovery, district and site-level Expanded Learning and summer program staff, Expanded Learning community partners, district and site-level attendance staff, district staff managing budgets and finances.
