In September 2025, the Governor signed AB121, which increased funding for the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) for 300 of the 1,000 districts across California. This expansion is a substantial increase in access to programs, resulting in hundreds of thousands of new students and families being served, and allowing for more equitable and higher quality programming across the state.

Join the Partnership for Children and Youth (PCY) and the California AfterSchool Network for a webinar showcasing learnings from PCY’s newly released resource, The Second Wave. This webinar is an opportunity to explore recommendations from practitioners and technical assistance providers with deep experience in implementing ELO-P. The resource and webinar hope to support districts with increased funding as they embark on their ELO-P expansion journey and continue building the quality of their programs. The webinar will include a panel of practitioners who helped inform the memo.
