California Education Code grants Expanded Learning Programs attendance relief due to temporary closure for any unforeseeable natural disaster, civil unrest, or imminent danger that may put staffs’ and students’ health and safety at risk. In order to receive attendance credit for these closure days, grantees must submit an Attendance Relief Request Form to the CDE Expanded Learning Division (EXLD).
