Two Free CS Resources
Both Computational Fairy Tales and CS Unplugged have free CS curriculum. CS Unplugged provides free learning activities and videos that teach CS through engaging games and puzzles. Computational Fairy Tales uses a collection of stories to introduce computer science concepts to student.
Use Slime to Learn About Space
NASA Space Place has a variety of great crafts and activities to provide interactive learning about space for kids and the world around them. NASA Space Place has instructions to make stretchy universe slime, sun paper, a stained glass Earth, or a comet on a stick.
Teaching Kids About Computers
Computer code is the next universal language, and its syntax will be limited only by the imaginations of the next generation of programmers. Linda Liukas is helping to educate problem-solving kids, encouraging them to see computers not as mechanical, boring and complicated but as colorful, expressive machines meant to be tinkered with. In this talk, she invites us to imagine a world where the Ada Lovelaces of tomorrow grow up to be optimistic and brave about technology and use it to create a new world that is wonderful, whimsical and a tiny bit weird.
LCAP Toolkit for STEM
California STEM Learning Network has releases an LCAP Toolkit for STEM Advocates to provide guidance as school districts in California to develop their Local Accountability Plans or LCAP for the 2016-2017 school year with STEM in mind. By sharing the LCAP Toolkit resources with your local partners, district and community leaders you can help strengthen science and STEM.

Inspire the Next Generation of Scientist
The Walking Classroom program offers a FREE podcast series on careers in science. Interviews were conducted with scientists from North Carolina Museum of National Science. Teachers are provided a lesson plan for each podcast.
Lawrence Hall of Science Provides Free Educator Tools
Lawrence Hall of Science provides free Out-of-School Educator Tools from environmental learning modules to online STEM activities. Lawrence Hall also provides a professional development program for staff. Captain Plant Foundation Grant
