State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond and the California Department of Education will be celebrating Pride 2021 with a webinar series. 

Superintendent Thurmond will host a conversation with Mayor Todd Gloria, author of Assembly Bill 493, Rich Chavez Zbur, Executive Director of Equality California, and the LGBTQ Legislative Caucus on the importance of supporting LGBTQ+ students and the development of CA Education Code 218.
