Post

In July, the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition celebrated it’s 60th Anniversary. The Council was established on July 16, 1956 by President Dwight D. Eisenhower and for 60 years has been working towards improving the health and well-being of millions of children, adults, and families. The council recently joined forces with the National Foundation on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition to commemorate the Council’s 60th anniversary and launched the #0to60 Campaign. #0to60 is “a national public awareness campaign that hopes to inspire Americans to accelerate their journey to leading a healthy, active lifestyle.” To get you inspired and/or your staff to start moving, check out the #0to60 tips and watch the must see video from First Lady Michelle Obama and comedian/actor Nick Offerman in “The History of Exercise.”
