Child Care and Development Fund Final Rule FAQs

Post

The Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) is a federal and state partnership program (over $5 billion in federal funding) authorized under the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act (CCDBG) and administered by states, territories, and tribes with funding and support from the Administration for Children and Families’ Office of Child Care. States use CCDF to provide financial assistance to low-income families to access child care so they can work or attend a job training or educational program. The Office of Child Care has posted responses to frequently asked questions (FAQs) regarding the Child Care and Development Fund Final Rule based on the bipartisan reauthorization of the Child Care and Development Block Grant Act. The questions and responses are organized by key topic areas, and additional FAQs will be added in the future on an ongoing basis.
