EdSource: School Districts and Housing Organizations Should Work Together to Feed Kids

With the California Stay at Home order, many children are not only lacking in-person learning but are not receiving meals. As the nation is encouraged to stay put for personal and public health reasons during the coronavirus emergency, there is a large number of kids living in households where the refrigerator and kitchen shelves often are mostly empty. During this time nontraditional partners like our public housing and nonprofit housing organizations play a critical role.
